Gumprandus, son of the late Martinus, built “pro anima” the church of Santi Martino e Giorgio in a field of his property in Iuliano, called “at Celeste”. He now donates “pro anima” to this church the soil over which the church rises and all the buildings and goods he received from Sichimundus, son of the late Taitonus, except the movables, that will remain under his possession. Should this not happen, the bishop “pro tempore” of Lucca will have the power of restoring the church of Santi Martino e Giorgio to the conditions described in this document.
