Truppaldus “diaconus et medicus”, abbot of the church of Santa Maria, rents for six years to Benedictus, son of Holdegard of Capua, and Leo, son of the late Stephanus, the site of a collapsed mill, next to the river Irno, called "ad lu fuso", under the condition that they and their heirs would restore the mill and give him one "modium" of grain on September and the days of Christmas and Easter. As a contribute for the restoration of the mill, Truppaldus pays 40 golden “tareni”, one "modium" of grain, half "modiolum" of broad beans, half "modium" of pork fat, two "salmae" of wine, one sheep, iron shafts, an ax ["securicla"] and three rings.
