Content details :
At the presence of Petrus, abbot of the monastery of SS. Trinità in Metiliano, and of Ademarius “iudex”, Scolarius, son of the late Petrus “medicus Siculus”, exchanges with the monastery of SS. Trinità, represented by the monk Iohannes, his part of the lands and possessions in Metiliano, in Prato and in Pasciano that were originally given to his father by lord the prince Gisulfus of good memory, receiving part of one piece of land “cum arbusto et vacuo et iscla” and two mills. Iohannes, Scolarius’ brother, already donated to the monastery of SS. Trinità his part of Petrus’ lands. In addition, Scolarius commits himself in giving to the monastery life every year for the rest of his, in occasion of the feast of the Assumption of the Holy Virgin, two “cannulas cereas” weighting two pounds. After Scolarius’ death, the land will come back to the monastery.
